Suwon Gwang-gyo Lake Park
Blue liveness of summer still stay on leaves. Rather, when enjoy the cool breeze that blow a humid atmosphere, the leaves look more lively. This time of year, many people from across the nation visit famous arboretum or public park. How about spending a your day for enjoying fully relaxed and nature rather than exposing yourself to the wind on your way home? Specially, The Ajou University students don't have to go out by near Seoul for this one day.
If the Ajou University students walk only 3km, they could reach Suwon Gwanggyo Lake Park which was selected as the best scenery from Korea Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport in 2014.
The lake park which is located on Gwanggyo 2, Yeongtong, Suwon was opened from November, 2013 and is harmonized with Woncheon lake and Sindae lake. This lake park is the one of the nation's largest scale as the area of 202.
There are various landscaping and many facilities in Suwon Gwanggyo Lake Park as the best scenery and the one of the nation's largest scale.
Afternoon
In warm weather, Looking for green trees and large lake is enough to off our chest and be cool. But the day with no wind only the light of the sun, only looking for lake is lack. Especially for young children who can't stand the heat. The Lake Park prepares diverse fountain facilities and water facilities for families with children. In the heat of day afternoon, water facilities of lake park around is full of fun children who wear cute bathing costume and have squirt gun. With forgetting the sun's heat, Children who are wet from head to toe play with first meeting friends and their laughing voice never stop. Parents who watch this happy children wear a satisfied expression and relax after a long time.
Evening
After avoiding the heat like this and having a dinner, We can see the lake park of different mood from the day. It is because of soft and ambient lighting from bridge on lake. While The lake part is friendly atmosphere because of children during the day, in the evening we can feel static and romantic mood, fully. If you see above the lake that shone softly through blue and purple light, white light streaming from buildings around the lake park and the night sky blending in with the moonlight, you could understand why Suwon Gwanggyo Lake Park was selected as the best scenery. The cry of bugs of a distant place makes us more calm.
Camping
If you want to feel this mood of Suwon Gwanggyo Lake Park longer, I recommend to use it's campsite that was managed by Suwon City Hall. It has restroom and shower stall. especially, it's shower stall can be used by campsite users. So, it is clean. It's campsite is ready to use 26 desks of tents and caravanes. Both are placed with tables, parking lots and developing facilities at each site. The campsite is not reserve each day but reserve and use by cast lots each month. Also, Pets is restricted to enter it. this campsite can be used by family members. That is, friends or other group can't use this site. Because burning act is harmful to other people, we must use not charcoal but electronic machine. using time is from 14 to 11 of next day. Suwon Gwanggyo Lake Park has many kinds of food shop and cafe. It is famous of street of cafe, also. I strongly want to recommend for student of Ajou University near it to visit there. If you want to refresh yourself, whenever you can visit there with whoever. It will be wonderful that you take a break with fresh air and romantic mood.
