Ajou University does not charge for wireless services. Some freshmen and exchange students who are not completely familiar with the university’s services may not notice that Ajou students are able to use wireless Internet on the Ajou campus. There are several steps to follow to use this service. When you enrolled at Ajou University, you received an identification for “aims2,” which is a main portal site for Ajou students and professors. This site is very useful for checking semester grades, class announcements on “E-class,” and the school’s calendar. When you log in to “Aims2,” you will see “Support Service” in the upper right hand corner. Click on “Direction of Wireless Internet” and follow the rules to apply it to your laptop or mobile phone. In addition, Office 365 from Microsoft is also available for free. You can find it in the upper right hand corner of “aims2”; see “Account Enrollment for Office 365.” This service works only for Ajou email, not for other emails. Some instructions may not support English; therefore, exchange students who have difficulties using these services should seek assistance from the student service center.
